about our bikes

Percept ICE, the Events and Special Projects Domain Company of Percept Limited, organized the ‘KTM Orange Day’ Bike Ride on 9 December, 2018 to launch the brand new KTM 125 Duke bike. The event saw over 300 Bikers ride from Mumbai and Pune for a sneak peek of the all new KTM 125 Duke edition at the popular Sheetal da Dhaba restaurant venue on the highway to Lonavala. The ride was witnessed, attended and cheered by over 400 pax.
The KTM 125 Duke is the sleekest and smallest in the Duke range in India. KTM has kept the styling of this motorcycle the same as the 200 Duke and it is India’s first 125cc motorcycle with a liquid-cooled engine. The 124.7cc DOHC motor churns out 14.5PS at 9250rpm, and 12Nm at 8000rpm. A six-speed transmission transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. The 125 also features an aluminium swingarm, WP upside down front forks and WP monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle comes to a halt using 300mm front and a 230mm rear disc, with single-channel ABS.
Percept ICE conceptualized the KTM Orange Day event to create awareness and buzz for the all new KTM 125 Duke Bike. The event saw over 300 bike enthusiasts ride from Mumbai and Pune to converge at the popular Sheetal da Dhaba eatery located on the highway to Lonavala where they attained an exclusive sneak preview of the new KTM 125 Duke Bike. Visitors also got a chance to relax and enjoy an exclusive brunch menu, participate in some fun games and activities, pose for a Group Photo memorabilia, as also check out the features and inclusions in the brand new KTM 125 Duke.
Percept ICE’s scope of work included planning, conceptualizing and executing the entire KTM Orange Day Bike Ride spanning biker registration and participation from the cities of Mumbai & Pune, branding, set décor and collaterals production and set up, permissions, security, biker guest list RSVP & hospitality, brunch and games management, venue and parking, event photography, technicals, and a seamless show run of the entire on ground event.
Said Vidya Alva, Executive Vice President & Business Head – Events, Percept ICE said, “The KTM Orange Day activity was quite an exhilarating event to manage. It was a tough mandate given the fact that it spanned 2 cities converging at an off-beat venue for a prestigious bike launch and preview. We are grateful to KTM for the faith invested in us and we are thrilled with the positive feedback received from both the client and the bikers who attended the launch event.”
